Este estudio analiza los problemas de acceso a la asistencia sanitaria en el distrito de Ouenzé, ubicado en el quinto distrito de Brazzaville, República del Congo. La investigación revela una cobertura médica alarmantemente baja, de apenas el 11%, identificando factores críticos como la automedicación, la movilidad territorial y el elevado coste de los productos farmacéuticos. Basado en entrevistas a 152 familias y utilizando enfoques diacrónicos y sistémicos, el autor propone un nuevo plan sanitario que incluye la mejora de las instalaciones técnicas, la reapertura de centros antiguos y la creación de un hospital de referencia para mejorar la situación de salud en la región.
