«Les set cases del Buti» is Josep Gòrriz's children's novel, published by Editorial Bambú in paperback (96 pages, in Catalan).
Buti, a good-natured terrier, tries an exquisite sausage and from then on only thinks about eating. Abandoned on the road, he survives by going near a butcher shop, until Jan and Cira notice him. The story asks whether Buti can give up gluttony and find a home where he is loved; a rooftop cat advises him.
It was published in 2006 in the Joves Lectors collection; the illustrations are by Marta Balaguer and the recommended reading age is 8 to 11 years.
For young readers aged 8 and up who enjoy stories about animals, friendship and the search for a home.
