«Libro de la vida» is the spiritual autobiography of Teresa de Jesús, published by Algaba Ediciones in hardcover (380 pages, in Spanish).
Teresa de Jesús narrates in the first person her life journey and mystical experiences, from childhood to her work as a Carmelite reformer. Written at the request of her confessors, it combines autobiographical and confessional narrative with an exposition on prayer and ends with the foundation of the convent of San José de Ávila.
The edition opens with a prologue by Joseph Pérez and includes editing and notes by María de los Hitos Hurtado. It is part of the Clásicos universales collection from Algaba Ediciones.
Recommended for readers interested in Christian spirituality, Spanish mysticism, and classics of religious literature.
