«Los cuadernos de un amante ocioso» is the satirical novel by Gastón Segura Valero, published by Editorial Drácena in paperback (123 pages, in Spanish).
An ironic yet tender portrait of coupled life in Spain at the start of the 21st century. Though it takes the form of a diary, it works as a novel: the narrator observes her whims and obligations for a year with constant humor. The book began as weekly blog posts between 2011 and 2012.
First volume in Editorial Drácena's Singulares collection, published in Spain on January 20, 2015.
For readers of contemporary and satirical fiction who enjoy portraits of coupled life.
