«Lugo Philadelphia» is the poetry collection by Lois Pérez with photographs by Alba Díaz, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (136 pages, in Galician).
Verses and images follow the trail of «brown sugar» on a musical journey from Lugo to Philadelphia via New York. Poetry and rock and roll in stanzas, choruses and riffs, with echoes of the Rolling Stones, Terra Chá and Lito Pereira's graffiti in Piringalla: a gaze with one foot in the deep and the other in the mud of what does not shine.
It is the first edition, published on January 19, 2023 within the collection Edición Literaria - Poesía.
For readers of contemporary Galician poetry with an interest in rock and roll and the urban landscapes of Lugo and New York.
