«O cuarto das abellas» is Antía Otero's poetry collection, published by Grupo Anaya Publicaciones Generales in paperback (80 pages, in Galician).
The collection emerges from the tension between the domestic and the wild: memories become a closed space where the mysticism of Emily Dickinson resonates. Antía Otero builds a hive of words, a disquieting and uncompromising structure, and shares an act of risk: verses that, like bee venom, wound and heal at once.
From the Edición Literaria - Poesía collection. Winner of the Follas Novas do Libro Galego Award in the Poetry category (2017).
For readers of contemporary Galician poetry and for those seeking a work that dialogues with the tradition of Emily Dickinson.
