«A póla branca» is Xavier Seoane's haiku poetry collection, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (70 pages, in Galician).
The book opens with a prologue on the haiku and its tradition. Its poems are synthetic, witty and personal, more focused on the impression of the moment and the voice of nature than on the strophic canon, between pantheistic feeling and cosmic wonder, with room for everyday life, the urban and pop.
First edition published on February 20, 2020, within Xerais's Edición Literaria-Poesía collection.
For readers of Galician poetry and haiku enthusiasts seeking brief lyricism, with humor and attentive to nature and the urban.
