«Dente de Leite» is the poetry collection by Arancha Nogueira, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (64 pages, in Galician).
It is a nostalgic book about the loss of innocence: it evokes a childhood summer and the everyday seen with the tenderness and lucidity of a girl, with the totemic figure of the mother as shelter; over time, that figure becomes strange. Bittersweet and warm, it narrates the growth of a generation that longs for protection and discovery.
The work was recognized with the Johán Carballeira Prize for Poetry (2019) and belongs to the Edición Literaria - Poesía collection of Edicións Xerais.
This work is intended for readers of contemporary Galician poetry interested in memory, childhood and the mother-child relationship.
