«Managing IT at Board Level: The Hidden Agenda Exposed» is Kit Grindley's essay on IT management, in hardcover (248 pages, in English).
The essay addresses IT management from the boardroom: outsourcing, reengineering, the cultural clash between IT staff and the rest of the company, and the difficulty of measuring the benefit of computer investments. It also warns of large companies' dependence on systems they no longer understand.
Second revised edition, published on July 23, 1995. Kit Grindley was Professor of Systems Automation at the London School of Economics and a consultant at Price Waterhouse.
Work for executives, technology leaders, and business management professionals interested in IT strategy.
