Marcela

Synopsis of Marcela

«Marcela» is the children's novel by Ana García Castellano, published by Anaya Infantil y Juvenil in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).

Marcela, aged four, is Daniela's older sister and observes her surroundings with curiosity. She enjoys playing, discovering new things and having fun, although sometimes things get complicated: wetting the bed or not knowing how to say her mother's name are small scares that, told from her point of view, become funny anecdotes.

First title in the «Marcela» series, number 92 in the Sopa de Libros collection, with illustrations by Ximena Maier; published in 2003.

Aimed at children aged 6 and up who are starting to read chapter books, with everyday stories about childhood.
