«Maria y la gran sequía» is the illustrated children's story by Sonia García and Manolo Hidalgo, published by CICERON EDITORES SAS in hardcover (44 pages).
In a village stricken by drought, not even the processions manage to attract the clouds. María seems to hold the key to bringing back the rain, with a remedy as unusual as it is effective. Poetic text and expressive illustrations give shape to this story.
Manolo Hidalgo won the Lazarillo Prize in 2006. The edition includes the text in Spanish and Catalan.
Recommended for the little ones, who will enjoy both the poetic text and the illustrations.
