«Max va à l'hôpital» is the children's comic by Dominique de Saint Mars and Serge Bloch, published by Calligram in hardcover (45 pages, in French).
Max is hit by a car on his way out of school and ends up in the hospital with a broken leg. There he discovers fear and pain, but also patience, the kindness of the medical staff and solidarity among patients, while his family and friends support him. The story aims to take the drama out of a hospital stay and encourage family dialogue.
Tenth volume in the «Max et Lili» series, part of the «Ainsi va la vie» collection.
Recommended for children aged 6 to 9, especially those facing a hospital stay.
