«Mes peurs bleues» is the children's picture book by Henriette Bichonnier, Pef and Yan Thomas, published by Messidor in hardcover (32 pages, in French).
Nathalie tells of her nights and the fears that try to scare her: Madame Lapeur, Monsieur Lapeur and other creatures fail to frighten her because the girl responds with wit. The book turns nighttime fear into a game, with illustrations by Pef in deep blues and yellows that reinforce the comforting tone.
The work is dated 1993; the consulted records associate it with Messidor, Messidor Scandéditions and La Farandole, and the edition is in French.
For children who are beginning to handle nighttime fears; works well as shared reading before bed.
