«La belle lisse poire du prince de Motordu» is the children's story by Pef, published by Gallimard Jeunesse in paperback (40 pages, in French).
Prince Motordu speaks with mixed-up words: for him a castle is a hat and the dining room becomes a room of danger, causing misunderstandings. Princess Dézécolle, a teacher, invites him back to class to learn to say things properly. A humorous story with wordplay and illustrations.
It belongs to the Folio Cadet Premières lectures collection (number 8) and to the series «Le Prince de Motordu» by Pef.
Recommended for children aged 6 to 7 who are starting to read in French and enjoy wordplay and illustrations.
