«La Belle Lisse Poire du Prince de Motordu» is Pef's children's picture book, published by Editions Gallimard in paperback (48 pages, in French).
Prince Motordu speaks with twisted words: in his mouth, château can become chapeau and garçon can become glaçon. Princess Dézécolle, who acts as a teacher, tries to restore his correct language in a comic full of wordplay, misunderstandings and absurd situations.
First title in the Le Prince de Motordu series. The original edition was published in 1980; this edition, in 1989.
