«Scoop !» is the children's picture book by Gianni Rodari and Pef, published by Rue du Monde in 1999, in hardcover (36 pages, in French).
The book tells of the initiative of an impertinent and dreamy young journalist who decides to publish only good news: he writes that a traffic accident did not happen, that two motorcyclists did not die and that a murder was not committed. The newspaper editor, worried about sales, must react to information that turns the profession upside down.
The original text is Italian and the French translation is by Roger Salomon.
Aimed at children aged 3 to 5, it is also useful in the classroom for introducing journalism and the news format to early readers.

Giovanni Francesco "Gianni" Rodari was an Italian writer and journalist, most famous for his works of children's literature, notably Il romanzo di Cipollino. For his lasting contribution as a children's author, he received the biennial Hans Christian Andersen Medal in 1970. He is considered Italy's most important 20th-century children's author, and his books have been translated into many languages, though few have been published in English.
