«Mira las estrellas» is Federico Gómez Costa's essay on Star Wars from an evangelical perspective, published by SAN PABLO in paperback (168 pages).
It analyzes the Star Wars saga as a mass phenomenon that goes beyond lightsabers and spaceships: characters such as Han Solo, Princess Leia or Darth Vader are archetypes of human fears and hopes. Gómez Costa traces their spirituality to find evangelical keys and proposes pastoral pointers and resources for organizing video forums.
It is part of the Renueva T collection from San Pablo, in its first edition (2019). Gómez Costa, a forestry engineer, is a secondary and baccalaureate teacher.
For educators, catechists and youth pastoral groups interested in dialoguing about faith through Star Wars cinema.
