«Mitos Griegos» is a children's book on Greek mythology by Marcia Williams, published by Ediciones B in paperback (32 pages, in Spanish).
The book brings together eight Greek myths adapted for young readers, with lively narration and cartoon-style illustrations. It includes the stories of Theseus and the Minotaur, the labours of Heracles, Perseus and Medusa, Orpheus and Eurydice, Arion and the dolphins, Pandora's box, Daedalus and Icarus, and the weaving contest between Arachne and Athena.
The book was published in Spanish in 1993; it originally appeared in English as «Greek Myths» in 1991.
Aimed at child and young readers, it serves as a first introduction to Greek mythology in illustrated format.
Marcia Matilda Williams, Baroness Falkender, CBE, also known as Marcia Falkender, was the private secretary for, and then the political secretary and head of political office to, UK Labour Prime Minister Harold Wilson.
