«Mundo Azul» is the science fiction novel by Jack Vance, published by Plaza & Janés in paperback (270 pages, in Spanish).
A planet covered almost entirely by water houses a human colony that lives on «floats» of aquatic plants and uses towers to transmit messages. Indestructible creatures emerge from the ocean, stealing food and terrorizing the colonists. One attempts to put an end to the threat and ends up discovering the shameful origin of the colony.
The work originally appeared in English as «The Blue World» in 1966; this Spanish edition was published in September 2000.
