«Nace Eugenia» is a children's story by María Candelaria Tejera González, published by Editorial Ob Stare in paperback (48 pages, in Spanish).
Eugenia tells children, in the first person, how she grew in her mother's womb, how she came into the world, and how she was breastfed. The story is designed so that little ones can understand these processes naturally, especially if a new sibling is on the way.
It is volume 19 of the Letritas de Amor collection, with illustrations by Cristina Méndez. This second edition received an Honorable Mention at the 4th Illustrated Children's Story Contest of FEDECATA.
For families and educators who want to talk to young children about pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding, especially with the arrival of a new sibling.
