It analyses the South African crisis through the relationship between major multinationals and black political movements, and describes how the employment of black miners by the gold and diamond magnates gave rise to an urban black nationalism and attempts at a pact with the resistance.
Published in 1991; part of the Economía y Empresa collection. Subtitle: South Africa, magnates, revolutionaries and «apartheid».
For readers interested in the history of South Africa, apartheid, and the relations between big business and political power.
