«No lejos de la Tierra» is the science fiction short story collection by Domingo Santos, published by Orbis in 1986 in paperback, with 188 pages in Spanish.
The volume brings together eleven prospective science fiction stories: tales anchored in the present that explore short-term possibilities and risks of our world. The introduction advocates a close-to-home science fiction, without leaving the Earth, to find themes for reflection. It includes stories such as «La puerta», «El cambio» and «Los monstruos».
No. 84 of the Biblioteca de Ciencia Ficción collection from Ediciones Orbis.
Aimed at science fiction readers who prefer speculative stories close to the present and to Earth.
