«Peter Pan: Tempestad» is the third comic in the Peter Pan series by Régis Loisel, published by Norma Editorial in paperback (61 pages, in Spanish).
The story shows Peter Pan and his companions on a ship battered by a storm while Loisel blends Barrie's fairy world with a dark, romantic London. The narrative delves into the characters' psychology and addresses themes such as unaccepted motherhood, childhood violence, and revenge.
Third volume of the Peter Pan series by Régis Loisel; the Spanish edition dates from 1996. The French original, Peter Pan, Tome 3: Tempête, won the Alph-art for public choice at the 1995 Angoulême Festival.
For readers of European comics seeking an adult, psychological reinterpretation of the Peter Pan myth.
Régis Loisel is a French cartoonist, best known for the series La Quête de l'oiseau du temps, written by Serge Le Tendre.
