«Política para Amador» is Fernando Savater's essay on political philosophy, published by Ariel in paperback (237 pages, in Spanish).
Savater starts from young people's disaffection with politics to set out, with simplicity and humor, the foundations of political thought. He analyzes the relationship between the individual and society, freedom, equality and solidarity, and addresses practical issues such as militarism, ecology, corruption, racism and nationalism.
Fernando Savater wrote this work with the same simplicity and humor as «Ética para Amador», and this edition includes a prologue and a dictionary for citizens.
For young and not-so-young readers who want a first approach to politics and citizenship.
Fernando Fernández-Savater Martín is a Spanish philosopher, essayist and author.
