«Sonata de Primavera. Sonata de Estío» is the modernist novel by Ramón del Valle-Inclán, published by Alianza Editorial in paperback (232 pages, in Spanish).

This first volume brings together two of the four Sonatas that form the memoirs of the Marqués de Bradomín, a Don Juan «ugly, Catholic and sentimental». In «Sonata de Primavera», the marquis recalls his youth in Italy and his frustrated courtship in a palatial setting; in «Sonata de Estío», already in his prime, he narrates his love affair in Mexico. The edition, edited by Javier Serrano Alonso, opens the protagonist's biographical and amorous cycle.
