Stupeur et tremblements es una novela autobiográfica de la escritora belga Amélie Nothomb, publicada en 1999. La novela narra la experiencia de la autora trabajando en una empresa japonesa en Tokio. A través de su relato, Nothomb critica la cultura laboral japonesa, la jerarquía y el choque cultural que experimenta al intentar adaptarse a un entorno tan diferente al suyo. La novela fue galardonada con el Grand Prix du roman de l'Académie française en 1999 y ha sido traducida a varios idiomas, convirtiéndose en una de las obras más conocidas de Nothomb.
