«The Radleys» is Matt Haig's vampire novel, published by HarperCollins in paperback (343 pages, in English).
In Bishopthorpe, the Radleys seem to be an ordinary family, but their children don't know that their parents are abstemious vampires. When Clara commits a violent act, the truth erupts: with the police closing in and a vampire uncle with habits far from abstemious, the family must face even darker secrets.
Published in 2010, it won the ALA Alex Award in 2011 and was nominated for the Carnegie Medal. The novel was adapted to a movie.
For those looking for a vampire story centered on the family and everyday life, with elements of mystery and drama.
Matt Haig is an English author and journalist. He has written both fiction and non-fiction books for children and adults, often in the speculative fiction genre.
