Synopsis of Todos los hermanos fueron valientes

La novela narra la historia del enfrentamiento entre dos hermanos. Joel Shore se hace cargo de un ballenero con dos propósitos: pescar cuantas ballenas pueda y buscar a su hermano, anterior capitán del barco. La aparición del hermano no tarda en provocar conflictos a bordo. El relato de sus aventuras se culmina con el atractivo señuelo de unas perlas escondidas en una isla de los mares del Sur, seduce a la tripulación, que acaba sublevándose contra el capitán. Joel, que cree que su única misión es pescar ballenas, tiene que hacer frente a todos y demostrar que es tan valiente como sus hermanos muertos en el mar.
