«Un fonamentalista del Vinalopó, i altres contarelles» is a collection of short stories by Enric Valor in paperback (121 pages, in Catalan).
The book brings together brief narratives set in the 1930s, born from events and anecdotes that Enric Valor knew first-hand. His stories explore little-trodden corners of traditional Valencian social reality and offer a close look at the customs and daily life of that era.
It is part of the «Obra Literària Completa d'Enric Valor» collection from Tandem Edicions, S.L. First edition published in 1996.
For readers interested in Catalan literature and the social memory of traditional Valencia through the short story.
Enric Valor i Vives was a Valencian narrator and grammarian who made one of the most important contributions to the re-collection and recovery of Valencian lexicography and its standardization in the Valencian Country, Spain.
