«Un idiota como tú» is the contemporary novel by Chus Castejón, published by MilMadres in paperback (100 pages, in Spanish).
The novel is an interior monologue of a middle-class young man during a Friday in the second half of the 1980s. His immature but painfully honest voice begins to glimpse adult life with horror, as he moves through the nightlife of the era and portrays a Zaragoza in full transition towards a modernity more decorative than real.
First volume of the General series.
For readers of contemporary fiction interested in the generational portrait of 1980s Spain.
