«Una estrella muy especial» is the children's story by Ana Serna Vara and Margarita Menéndez, published by Ediciones SM in hardcover (22 pages, in Spanish).
A great celestial party decides which star will guide the Three Wise Men from the East. Some candidates boast of being sweet and others of being pretty; the chosen one, however, is tiny, ugly, and has an enormous heart. The little star guides the Wise Men to Bethlehem and learns that being special does not depend on appearance.
First volume of the collection «Cuentos de ahora», published in 2005. The text is in cursive lettering.
Recommended for children aged 3 and up, especially as a Christmas story about the Three Wise Men.
