«Una festa d'elefants» is the children's book by Davi Zabay Caballero, illustrated by JoaQuim, published by Cadí in paperback (36 pages, in Catalan).
Enric the elephant invites his friends to a carnival costume party. Each guest dresses up as a different animal —rhinoceros, lion, zebra, crocodile or giraffe— and parades to his house. When Enric appears dressed as a mouse, everyone flees in terror. The text alternates prose and verse, with rhymes and repetitions, and witty, colorful illustrations that heighten the humor.
Published in 2000 within the Llegir és viure collection.
For children aged 3 to 7 who are starting to read; also works at home and in the classroom to discuss coexistence and equality.
