«Une super histoire de cow-boy» is the children's picture book by Delphine Perret, published by Les Fourmis Rouges in hardcover (32 pages, in French).
The text recounts the misdeeds of a fearsome-looking cowboy who swears, robs banks and eats rabbits. The illustrations, however, show a gentle monkey brushing his teeth, doing aerobics and holding a banana instead of a gun. The mismatch between narrative and image creates absurd humor.
Published in May 2018, it is recommended for children aged 3 to 6; the text appears in large capital letters.
