«Violín» is the illustrated album by Antonio Rubio and Óscar Villán, published by Kalandraka in hardcover (14 pages, in Spanish).
An album for pre-readers focused on sonority and onomatopoeia: its pages feature musical instruments, claps and kisses wrapped in simple-line illustrations. The text combines the rhythm and sound of words to stimulate the ear before learning to read.
It belongs to the De la cuna a la luna collection; the first edition was published in May 2014.
Designed for pre-readers aged 0 to 4: a first approach to music and language through shared reading.
Antonio Rubio Pérez was a Uruguayan journalist and politician.
