«What the CEO Wants You to Know» is the business book by Ram Charan, published by Crown Publications in hardcover (141 pages, in English).
Ram Charan argues that running a large company is not very different from running a small business: it is about mastering the fundamentals that make money. Drawing on his experience as a CEO adviser and his time at Harvard, he explains in plain language how a company works, what business acumen is, and why you do not need an MBA to understand it.
First edition published in 2001. The cover subtitle is «Using Business Acumen to Understand How Your Company Really Works».
For executives, middle managers, and readers interested in understanding how companies work, even without prior business training.

Ram Charan (1720–1799)) is the Rajasthani Hindu guru, inspirator of a religious tradition called Ramsnehi Sampradaya or Ramdwara. He initiated and illustrated Nirguna (absolute) Bhakti, although he was not against Saguna Bhakti. He initiated and tried to eliminate "show", blind faith, hypocrisy and misled existing in the Hindu religion and preferred to worship the 'name of God', Rama, over God, to not get involved in false "show" activities.
