«Zélie Nord-Sud» is a comic by Cosey, published by Lombard in 1994 in French.
Zélie, a young African woman raised in Switzerland, returns to her native country hoping to reunite with a childhood friend and discover roots she doesn't know. The work combines graphic novel and document, portraying daily life in the Sahel with landscapes of trees, tents and people.
It was conceived from an idea by Dino Beti and Toni Linder, with colors by Valott, and is part of the series «Lombard sur les pas de vos héros».
For French-language comic readers interested in slice-of-life and documentary stories set in Africa.
