«Coffins, Cats and Fair Trade Sex Toys» is Jeremy Piercy's memoir, published by Quick Brown Fox Publications in paperback.
Jeremy Piercy, founder of Shared Earth, recounts how he became involved in fair trade and what it means to be a buyer. His travels through Sri Lanka, Ecuador and India show his impact on real people as the company grows from a shop in York to the UK's leading fair trade chain. He asks whether fair trade is a fad or a lasting trend.
Published in 2009, it is Jeremy Piercy's first book, founder of Shared Earth, and includes a foreword by Antony Worrall Thompson.
For readers interested in fair trade and in memoirs of entrepreneurs from the movement.
