«El poema de la rosa als llavis» is the poetry collection by Joan Salvat-Papasseit published by Estrella Polar in paperback, with 200 pages and in Catalan.
A love poetry collection in which the rose becomes the central symbol of Salvat-Papasseit's poetics. The author combines traditional meter and phonic devices with free verse and other avant-garde elements, and presents love as a dialogue in which only the male voice is heard.
The work was originally published in 1923 and this 2009 edition is part of the Col·lecció Jove series, with a prologue by Joaquim Molas.
Aimed at young readers aged 12 and up, it is a gateway to early 20th-century Catalan poetry.
