«En la montaña» is the sensory children's book written and illustrated by Maurice Pledger, published by EDICIONES SM in hardcover (14 pages, in Spanish).
The book offers a walk through the mountain to discover the animals that live there: touch their textures, learn the adjectives that describe them, and expand the vocabulary of the little ones. Each page hides an animal to find, turning reading into a game of observation.
This title is part of the Sensory Books collection, with translation by María Menéndez-Ponte; the original text is in English.
It is a book recommended for children aged 3 to 6 who are beginning to discover mountain animals.
