«Estrambòlics» is the children's picture book by André Letria and José Jorge Letria, published by Ediciones La Fragatina in paperback (36 pages).
A group of strange, shape-shifting creatures, able to alter their appearance and their name, star in these pages. The sixteen initial figures combine to generate 4,096 different forms, each with new attributes and its own identity. The whole works as an observation game to explore shapes and play with language.
The Catalan edition was published in December 2013; the work originally appeared in 2011.
It is suitable for early readers and for educators who want to work on visual creativity and play with language.
