«Éxito» is the novel by Martin Amis published by Punto de Lectura S.L. in paperback, with 304 pages, in Spanish.
The novel contrasts Gregory, a narcissistic success who seduces effortlessly, with his stepbrother Terry, a grey man living in his shadow. Amis paints a critical portrait of English society, its contradictions, and the hypocrisy of values that punish failure while rewarding selfishness and cruelty.
The work was originally published in English as Success in 1978; this paperback edition dates from 2000.
For readers of literary fiction and contemporary British narrative who appreciate social portraits and criticism of manners.
