«Fábulas contadas a los niños» is a collection of classic fables adapted for children by Rosa Navarro Durán, published by edebé in paperback.
The book brings together short stories featuring animals and people, such as «La cigarra y la hormiga», «La zorra y la cigüeña» or «El león y el ratón», which show that intelligence, prudence and generosity are worth more than strength. They are adapted versions of the verse fables by Félix María Samaniego, an 18th-century writer.
It belongs to the collection «Clásicos contados a los niños» and features illustrations and graphic design by Francesc Rovira.
Suitable for ages 6 and up; in schools it is used as reading for children aged 10 to 11.
