«Famílias e Como (Sobre)Viver C/Elas» is the psychology essay by Robin Skynner and John Cleese, published by Afrontamento in paperback, in Portuguese.
The book addresses with humor and accessible language why we fall in love, how we choose a partner and what roles we adopt in the family, based on family therapy. It also discusses raising children, the role of sex and the emotions we hide, with the experience of a psychotherapist and the perspective of a Monty Python comedian.
The English original, Families and How to Survive Them, was published in 1983. This Portuguese edition, with drawings by Bud Handelsman, has 288 pages.
For readers interested in psychology, couple relationships and family, with an accessible and humorous approach.
