«Home» is a book of aerial photography by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, published by ABRAMS US in paperback (192 pages, in English).
Published to accompany the movie of the same title directed by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, this book brings together aerial photographs taken in more than fifty countries. Its images portray the Earth as a shared home and contrast the planet's beauty with the fragility of the natural environment, in an optimistic view that defends the need to act for sustainability and conservation.
The original subtitle is «A Hymn to the Planet and Humanity». This book was published in 2009 and includes texts from the GoodPlanet team.
It is aimed at readers interested in nature photography, travel, and the environment.
Yann Arthus-Bertrand is a French environmentalist, activist, journalist and photographer. He has also directed films about the impact of humans on the planet.
