«La rivoluzione della luna» is the historical novel by Andrea Camilleri, published by Sellerio Editore Palermo in paperback (276 pages, in Italian).
In 1677 Palermo, the viceroy's illness leads his wife, Eleonora di Mora, to assume the government of Sicily. Her mandate, committed to upholding the law and social justice, clashes with the corruption and conspiracies of the Sacro Regio Consiglio; the novel interweaves historical events with narrative invention.
First edition published on March 7, 2013, in Sellerio's «La memoria» collection.
A work for readers of historical fiction with a political backdrop, set in 17th-century Sicily.
Andrea Calogero Camilleri was an Italian writer best known for his Salvo Montalbano crime novels.
