«O gato fantasma» is the children's novel by Xelís De Toro, published by Edicións Xerais in hardcover (72 pages, in Galician).
Rolo and Pestiña are very good friends and walk home from school together every day. When Pestiña doesn't show up at the square where they always meet, Rolo waits and, when it starts to rain, takes shelter in a doorway he had never seen before that looks like a cave. There he sees a cat with a mouse in its mouth, the famous Rabudo, and that encounter will change everything.
The edition includes 12 illustrations by Almudena Aparicio Andión and belongs to the Merlín collection of children's and young adult literature.
Recommended for readers aged 9 and up, especially those who enjoy stories about animals, friendship and mystery.
