«Oliviak ez du eskolara joan nahi» is a children's story by Elvira Lindo, published by Ikasmina in hardcover (32 pages, in Basque).
Olivia, a red-haired girl, doesn't want to go to school and prefers to stay home with her grandmother; what weighs on her most is getting up early. The story, written in Basque with cursive lettering, follows that small morning resistance and turns a school routine into a relatable adventure for early readers.
It is part of the «Olivia» series by Elvira Lindo, with illustrations by Emilio González Urberuaga. The recommended reading age is 3 to 5 years.
For families and preschool classrooms that want a story in Basque about going back to school and small everyday resistances.
Escritora, guionista y periodista española, autora de la serie infantil Manolito Gafotas y de novelas para adultos como 'A corazón abierto'. Ganó el Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil en 1998.
