«Servicio de urxencias» is a book of fifteen situation mini-comedies by Suso de Toro, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (192 pages, in Galician).
The book brings together the fifteen scripts that Suso de Toro wrote for the TVG series broadcast in 1989. The stories take place in the emergency room of a Galician hospital and show doctors, nurses and patients in absurd situations. The humor, caustic and full of retranca, is used to cope with the harshness of life and rebel against defeat.
It belongs to the Fóra de Xogo collection. The first edition dates from June 6, 2002.
Work aimed at young readers aged 14 and over, with an interest in Galician narrative and humor.
