«Max y Koffi son amigos» is the children's story by Dominique de Saint Mars, published by La Galera, SAU in hardcover (40 pages, in Spanish).
During recess, Koffi suffers a racist insult and Max reacts to defend him. The story invites reflection on racial prejudice and shows how respect and friendship can overcome it; understanding that differences enrich us and that no one should be judged by the color of their skin, without fear.
Eighth volume of the children's collection «Así es la vida», with illustrations by Serge Bloch. Published in 1997.
Recommended for children aged 8 and up and for adults who want to share and discuss the reading with them.
