«Sentimental» is the contemporary fiction novel by Sergi Pàmies, published by Quaderns Crema in paperback (184 pages, in Catalan).
The novel begins when a man says he's going to buy tobacco and never returns home; from there, the mishaps of an eventful flight unfold. Drama, comedy and action intertwine with fantastical elements, while a sober, realistic prose sustains a breakneck pace, scene changes and a deep look at states of mind.
First edition published in 1995 by Quaderns Crema. Part of the Mínima Minor collection, number 54.
For readers of contemporary fiction seeking a short novel in Catalan, with an agile pace and fantastical elements.
